Cause and effect plagued Remus' entire life. From Greyback, to Hogwarts, to the Wars and the years in between. Someone did something and Remus was knocked down by the ripples.
He was constantly fighting against the tide, just hoping for a change in direction that would bring some light, some happiness, his way.
Then Dora happened. She brought the sunshine with her, the only ray of light in an otherwise dismal existence. This time, Remus didn't fight the current, he let it whisk him away, safe in the arms of a woman who truly loved him.
