Oh you guys all love these two~ admit it! Anyway, if you've read this already that's because it's on my DA account and I thought it deserved to be on Fanfiction since I've gotten such good reports from it. Don't forget about Men With Too Much Spare Time either, someone please review it because it feels unloved. XD
It had gotten cold quickly since he'd arrived at Moscow. Ivan had his hand tightly clasped around his, the warmth from it traveled up his arm. Russia's climate was somehow harsher than Germany in winter even though the area where he is was somewhat parallel to the country. Gilbert stepped on a frozen puddle, his foot slid forward and caused him to stumble. Swearing under his breath, he decided that Russia was indeed an unforgiving place to live. "You need a thicker coat Gilbert." Russia said sweetly. Prussia shot a glare at him while he wasn't looking.
"Otherwise you'll catch a cold. You wouldn't enjoy that." He tugged at Prussia's sleeve with the other hand. Gilbert slumped his shoulders and pulled the visor of his cap down. "I don't need one." he muffled from behind his coat collar. "Nonsense! That coat won't do at all once the snow comes." They had been walking at the Red Square for a few minutes now. Gilbert had started noticing piles of snow where people had tried to clear their building fronts. There had already been calls for three more inches. "More snow, this isn't it yet?" Russia shook his head. Ivan suddenly yanked him up into his arms and looked at him, beeming. "Come on, I'll help you pick it out. It'll be good fun!" He reached up and flicked Prussia's hat back. Gilbert scowled and tried to push it back down using Russia's arm. Ivan giggled,
"Why do you choose to wear that S.S. cap, I did give you a Soviet one right?" He let Prussia drop down. His boots thuded against the cobbles of the Square. "Yeah, but it doesn't match this." He gestured to his blue uniform, "So I wear it instead." Russia held up a finger, "But that doesn't match either." Gilbert's shocked expression made Ivan laugh.
"At least wear the other one once, that would make me very glad Prussia." Gilbert nodded and leaned against him. That was a strange behavior from him. "Is something wrong?" "Can I get a coat, it's FREEZING..." Gilbert complained in a high voice. "I told you." "I know; but, I don't wanna freeze to death, I'm too awesome for that stuff." Russia smiled and hugged him. "Alright, come on." They walked away to find a store elsewhere. "And I am NOT getting a lame coat like yours!" Gilbert screamed "Fine, fine, not so loud..." "You shouldn't care what other people think. You're the U.S.S.R.! Heck you could nuke their house if you felt like it." "N-not that I would. Stop, please, you're making the other people worried." "NO, East Prussia will not be silence! Ow, stop it-OW!" "Quit being so loud Gilbert or I'll make you stay outside tonight." "That's inhumane!" "I'm Russia, I can do whatever I want to do." "Fine. I'll shut up..." "Good"Russia smiled, and they had told him Gilbert was impossible to control, ha!
