"Professor Dumbledore, is something wrong?"
The teacher sighed. The girl was looking up at him with sincere curiosity and faith. The faith that he had nothing bad to say.
"Ms. McGonagall, I am afraid there is something you need to know," he told her.
Her eyebrows furrowed for a second, before a look of fear and despair crossed her face.
"Who is it," she slowly said.
"Ms. Burke."
Her face fell considerably.
"Will the one be caught?" she asked after a few moments.
"We are hoping," he replied.
"Thank you, professor," she said before walking down the hall.
He watched her greet some of her friends, and tell them the news.
He slowly turned away. How many more students had to suffer before it was stopped?
I don't own Harry Potter, but I do own the copy of the second book I was reading when I thought of this.
