Bastion's Victory

Summary: What if Bastion had not listen to Sartorius in episode 82.

"Bastion, you want to prove yourself? Well now's your chance. Lose this duel and join my society. Leave your friends behind," said Sartorius in Bastion's mind.
"Alright Scissor Beetle, attack. With Cross Slicer," yelled Chazz.
"Uh. If I play my trap, I'll win the duel" Bastion thought to himself as Chazz's attack came closer and closer.
"You're not thinking of trying to activate that trap card are you? If you really want to be someone then you know what you must do," said Sartorius.
"Give in," Bastion said, "Uh."
"No master, please don't lose," said a voice.
"Who said that?" asked Bastion.
"It was I your duel spirit," said White Magician Pikeru as she appeared in front of Bastion.
"Even if your human friends don't care about you, I care about you. Please don't leave me again," cried White Magician Pikeru.
"Thank you my friend. You reminded me even if there are no human friends around, I am never alone. I know what I must do," said Bastion with confidence.
Just before Chazz's attack made contact Bastion yelled "I activate my trap Magic Cylinder which redirects your attack back at you Chazz!"
"What?" was the only thing Chazz was able to say as his redirected attack hit him.
"Well Done Bastion," said the Ojama trio.
Bastion looked at Chazz's duel spirits and replied "It was my pleasure. So you are the ones Chazz always complains about."
"WHAT?! He can see us now?" exclaimed the Ojama trio.
"Master Bastion could see duel spirits at young age. But his scientist parents made him forget about duel spirits because they wanted him to focus on his grades," explained White Magician Pikeru.
"Oh," said the Ojama trio.
"Uhh, what hit me," said Chazz.
"Your duel partners can fill you in on what happened," said Bastion as he looked around the stadium. Sure enough everyone was coming out of their brainwashed states, including Alexis.
"Very good Bastion," said Sartorius as he approached Bastion.
"What do you want," Bastion warily asked.
"I was wondering if you would like to take Chazz's place as my second-in-command in The Society of Light?" asked Sartorius.
"No I will not. Now as we agreed you must leave Duel Academy," said Bastion as he held White Magician Pikeru in his arms.
"So you are like Jaden. You prefer the company of duel spirits," said Sartorius.
"There is a big difference between Jaden and myself," said Bastion walking past Sartorius.
"Oh, and is that difference?" asked Sartorius.
"I get good grades."

Notes: In episode 36 when Bastion was looking at his deck and came across White Magician Pikeru there was a girl's giggle. Since it was similar to when Jaden first used Winged Kuriboh I use that as my for my duel spirit idea.
