Hello everyone. My name, as you have already seen, is Adrien Tsukasa, but refer to me please as Nameless.
I have, after a long series of apprehension, decided to start writing a fic. So, in respect to all those who inspired me (CrossVipeR 316, Drakensword Oz, The Fell Dragonite, Naryfiel Lillith, Phoenix Champion) in finally putting this onto paper. Thank you for your hard-work.
I will proceed by pressing the fact that this is my first fic, so I expect a "lot" of criticism about it. But I hope that most of them will be positive though.
So, let us put the chitchat aside for now and proceed onto the main stuff, shall we ?

[ Chapter 0 : Let's see what the new generation of gamer can accomplish ]
{ Starting Point }
"Well. This is awkward..." That was the first thing that pop in my mind as I opened my eyes. One thing was clear, I did not expect the afterlife to be so...blank ? Yeah, that's it. There is just white as far as the eye can see. Here I was, thinking that upon my death, I will be going into a beautiful garden accompanied by two gorgeous girls.
"You are not entirely wrong on that one."
Said a gentle, yet elegant voice seemingly from nowhere and from everywhere at the same time. As I tried to convince myself that I am not death as well as mad, a bright golden light suddenly appeared in front me, blinding me at the same time.
"Welcome to the gateway, brave child of man."
As I managed to open my eyes and focus infront of me, I was immediately stricken by how beautiful the person was. Hair as shiny as the sun itself with a soft, impeccable white skin. Her long blue dress accentuating her features even more.
" Huh..."
"I see that you are at a loss for words, then permit me to introduce myself. I am Selena, Keeper of the gateway as well as it's many gates. Here are kept the portal leading to all the existing worlds, be it that of Radiance or Awakening."
Radiance ? Awakening ? " I know those terms..."
"It seems you are already acquainted with what I am about to tell you. This will facilitate things greatly." She started walking off in no precise direction and I just followed her.
" Wait for me !"
"To be straight to the point, you have been chosen among a very large list of candidates to be the next individual to bear this power." At the end of her sentence, a sudden pain started erupting from all over my body as well as a burning sensation in my chest.
" What the hell is going on !?"
Congratulations. You have been chosen as the next Gamer. You're new title as well as the power it bestows to you shall be further explain later.
But I already knew what was going on. As a proud member of the otaku class, i know exactly what is going to happen. The pain dissapearing withthe weird text, i looked up at the lady again.
You received two new abilities. Gamer Mind and Gamer Body. Use them well.
"As the hero chosen to represent us," the woman speak again, "you will be given a variety of skills to be used in your new world." She stops before a large door, essentially made of mahogany wood, who just pop up out of nowhere.
"Woah..."
Seriously. This door was not there before, and the second later. Poof... It seems I need to rethink about my way of reasoning here.
The woman step aside and stretch her arm towards the door as a sign for me to proceed. I slowly walk to the door in an attempt to open it. Immediately as my hand touches it, a new voice resonate from nowhere...yet again.
Brave warrior, select the world in which you wish to be reincarnated.
And with that, words started appearing in front on me, seemingly on air. On the list was the name of all the continents of the famous game fire emblem, from Archanea to Nohr and Hoshido.
" So hus is just like that manga, hein ?..."
My hand hovered slightly in front of Awakening and Fates, before finally resting on Genealogy... What ? I love that game. One of the first created and a verse that has not yet been surpassed. At least in my eyes.

The door then slowly opened itself, accompanied by a creaking sound. As the door reveals the first glimpse of what awaited me inside, I was suck in without even a word. Before that though, I heard the lady, Selena if i remember correctly, utter some final words.
"Take care of yourself in there."
{ Skipping Point }
I couldn't get a hold of myself... I was falling slowly down, and at a distance, I could see a rather large piece of land. Suddenly, a sharp pain in my head caused me to change my focus from the floor and into myself.

A question pop-up in front of me as the pain slowly fade away. I was presented with two options, a Yes or a No. Eventually my finger clicked on the No, making the text to disappear.

Does this world not obey the law of gravity yet ? At this speed I should have crashed myself since ! Oh well, I clicked the -OK- button on the bottom and the screen disappeared.
Your stats will be randomized depending on various factor like your race and your class. You will also be given extra stat point to use as you see fit. You cannot choose to which Crusader line you are from.
I nodded, posing my finger on my chin in reflection. I will very much prefer not to be of the line of Naga, I wouldn't like to be ask too many questions about that, as well as not having a good enough lie to cover that up. "May I see my stats now please."

Seconds later, a new screen appeared right in front of me.
You can access the Menu screen just by saying the word or by thinking about it.

As my consciousness was slowly fading away, I did one mental check in how I was going to handle the events before the final battle against Arvis. This is so going to be a pain the ass later. Well, what will be will be. Bring it on !
