Tsunade's POV

disclaimer: I do not own the song or Tsunade and Jiraiya or Naruto

I was playing in my backyard, I was small. Then he had come over. Our parents used to joke about us growing up together. He used to poke fun at me, and pull my hair. "You're so stupid, Tsunade." he would say.

"I am not, Jiraiya!" I would banter back.

"Yeah you are because you're a girl!"

"So! You're a stinky little boy!"

Our mothers would roll their eyes. "My, my, my." they would say. He'd chase me around, and continue to tease me.

"You know I'm bigger than you, Tsunade. I can beat you up!"

"You wouldn't beat me up because your mom should teach you not to hit girls!"

He stuck his tongue out, and I'd want to yank it out of his mouth, or pull his snow white hair. "You know if you tease me you like me."

"I do not like you, Tsunade!"

"You do too, and I dare you to kiss me!"

"Fine, I never back down on a dare." He leaned forward and tried to kiss me, but I ran away, giggling.

When we were older he actually admitted he had liked me, and our fathers were right about us. He would take me by the lake, and I'd stare into his eyes. Those onyx eyes that always shined. Then he'd tried to feel me up, and I hit him hard across the face, and ran off.

We were yelling at each other, and I slammed my front door in his face, and ran up to my room where I cried. How could he be so inconsiderate? How could he even try something like that. I slowly drifted off to sleep after that.

In the morning, I woke up, and looked out the window. There he was sound asleep beside the tree we used to play at. Maybe he wasn't so inconsiderate after all.

Then at the top of the Hokage mountain he proposed to me, I told him yes. Of course I would marry him! The whole village came, and I wore a long satin dress, and he told me I was beautiful. Our mothers were bawling like little babies, and we tried to keep from laughing at them. His eyes still shined in all their vivacity, and we both said "I do". We ourselves will rock our babies on the same porch our mothers rocked us, and things will be perfect.

Now we're older, and I'm Hokage. His eyes still shine when he looks at me. Oh, my, my, my.

I love this song, and I hope you liked it
