Okay, most of you should know that I do not normally write angst. But hey, I was feeling angsty because I was sick, and I was upset because I have this stupid writers block.

I was going to write new chapters for all of my stories for Christmas for you guys, but I had total writers block. -sobs- So I decided to make a one shot of Kagome and Inuyasha and a kid. But apparently my right side of my brain had different ideas.

I hope you like this, I hope you don't hate me for what happens. I'll explain what I can at the end.

He knelt before the marble headstone. His red haori and hakama stained with mud and the rain falling from the sky. His face was twisted with agony as he traced the name on the stone.

Closing his eyes, her name came out in a lonesome sob, "Kagome," The tears started, tracing a path across his cheeks. They fell, landing on his bent knees.

His white hair, soaked with rain and tears, draped over his shoulders and sprayed across his face. Covering his golden eyes for a split second, hiding the sorrow inside.

With a calloused finger, he gently grazed the tombstone, before standing up and prepared to leave. He gave one last glance at the white stone, and whispered her name again. "Kagome." He left, his last words hanging in the air. "I love you."

With a steady tread, he walked through the forest, heading to his destination. His footsteps were heavy with sorrow, but steadily growing lighter.

Entering a large clearing, he paused before the giant tree in the center. Walking up to it, he grazed a scar high up in the tree tenderly with his finger, his eyes sorrowful once more.

Turning, he went to a small house near the edge of the clearing and entered it. Shutting the door quietly he slipped past a door and entered the largest room, sitting on the floor, his head buried in his hands.

As he sat there, trying futilely to hold back the tears, the door slipped open and a black haired girl with kawaii cat ears slipped into the room and into his arms.

"Where'd you go?" she asked tearfully. "I was scared."

Inuyasha smiled softly at her. "I'm sorry, Mizuke. I was visiting Mommy."

Wrapping his arms around her, they closed their eyes in unison and fell asleep, dreaming of 'Mommy.'

Okay, I hope you all enjoyed that. Took me a max of ten minutes to work on, and as soon as I finish this note I'll go work on my other stories.

Now in the majority of my stories, I like to believe that if Kagome and Inuyasha 'mate' she will live as long as he does. This story is with the belief that that won't happen.

So basically, Kagome and Inuyasha 'mate.' Kagome has a daughter whom she names Mizuke, which basically means 'Beautiful Moon' which sounded cool and kinda sounded like something that Kagome would name a daughter of hers. Mizuke matures slowly because she has a lot of demon in her. Kagome eventually dies of old age, and leaves Inuyasha and Mizuke alone. Its sad, very angst, and it helped me get over my dratted writers block so you'd better like it!

P.S. I very, very badly need a beta! If you know a good one, or are one yourself, please tell me! I'm getting tired of trying to beta my own stories!
