Memoirs

Disclaimer: Absolutely not.
A pathetic attempt on poetry.
Watch me make fun of it in an hour.
And delete it tomorrow.
Theme: RedX/Starfire
Green eyes flutter at a touch on her cheek
Male lips mouth words he dares not speak
Still she slumbers, undisturbed by his touch
A single red rose held in his firm clutch
His mind is a cloud
Of spinning confusions
His masked eyes are dazed
Lost in steamy illusions
Daydreams of passion
But so magical and sweet
She whispers in her sleep
No earth girl can compete
With her alien green eyes
Rich auburn hair
Golden soft skin
No earth girl can compare
With this innocent angel
He places the rose in her hair
A red rose for his adoration
She sleeps under his stare
Thick lashes closed gently
An innocence so rare
He reflects to himself
No earth girl could compare
She's as lovely as this rose
No, she blows it away
He steps back from her
Mouthing words he won't say
At least not aloud
Or ever to her
The rose his confession
And a kiss to assure.
An offering of affection
A kiss for his devotion
A moment of emotion
All held in context
A memoir from RedX
So mediocre. It makes me sad and annoyed.
