Tidings of Joy
"But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people" - Luke 2:10
Sam and Dean were enjoying a rare evening of relaxing in front of the TV, when Castiel came crashing in.
The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy!"
After a quick, whispered conversation with Castiel, Dean was on his feet and had dashed out the door before Sam could even move the bowl of popcorn from his lap.
"What's going on?" asked Sam.
"There's a special holiday meal deal at Hooters," explained Castiel, gravely. "Although, it's not really my kind of place," he added.
"Yeah, it's wrong how they objectify women," agreed Sam.
They stared awkwardly at each other for a moment.
"I could certainly go for some wings right now," admitted Castiel, with a hopeful look.
"We should at least offer to keep him company," said Sam hastily. Castiel nodded his agreement, as they rushed out after Dean.
