This is a side story to my new fic, that will be out in a few weeks to a month. Anakin Solo does not belong to me but Kazzai does as does this fic. Star Wars does not belong to me, it belongs to George Lucas and if you sue me your only going to get 13 cents.
Nightmares

Anakin walked through the quiet ship toward his room. Kazzai had gone to bed hours before after falling asleep several times in the cockpit. Anakin felt a wave of fright flutter through the force as he passed her room. Stopping he reached out through the force, a nightmare. That was all. He sighed and turned to leave as a small muffled scream came from her room. Anakin used the force to open her door and walking in he knelt beside her bed.
He watched her for a moment as she rolled onto one side and then the other. He reached over and carefully touched her shoulder.
"Kazzai?"
"No," she mumbled in her sleep and moaned as if in pain. He stood up and sat on the edge of her bed.
"Kazzai." He said. Her eyes fluttered open her blue-green eyes filled with fear.
"Anakin?" She asked softly sitting up. He nodded and put his hands on her shoulders.
"You okay?" He asked.
"So, dark." She muttered sleepily leaning forward unconsciously her forehead touched his chest. She moved her head to the side so that her head fit under his chin as she leaned against his chest.
"Shh… it's okay Kaz." He mumbled his heart had picked up pace. "Nothings gonna hurt you… not while I'm here," He murmured to her softly. Kazzai's breaths were already slow and steady as she leaned against him. She was asleep he finally realized as he wrapped his arms loosely around her sleeping form.
"It'll be okay," he told her softly leaning his head down on top of hers. He held her till the chrono told him it was 03:00 standard time. Anakin yawned quietly and gently laid her down in her bed and pulled the covers over her. He smiled down and daring he leaned over and softly kissed her on the forehead. A slight smile spread across her face and she rolled over as he left the room.
