Author's Notes: I came up with this on Valentine's Day, however it has
nothing to do with it.
Warning: This is my first story and it is a slight Star Trek Voyager
crossover.
Mac's Horrible, Very Bad, No Good Day
Colonel Sara "Mac" Mackenzie sat on the couch thankful that the day
was finally over. It had been one of those Murphy's Law days, where
everything that could go wrong did. It had all started when her alarm didn't
go off and she overslept. Then her car wouldn't start and she had to take a
taxi to work. After that the petty officer she was defending "forgot" to show
up for his trial. When she got home Brumby called and asked if she had
made up her mind. To top it off now she had insomnia.
Mac clicked on her T.V. hoping to find a boring late night movie to
put her to sleep. There wasn't some late night movie on, the show Star
Trek Voyager was just starting. She decided to watch it because she figured
it would help her past the time until it was time to go to work.
The episode she watched was actually fairly interesting. One of the
main characters, a woman named B'Elanna was having a bad day. Her day
like Mac's had been one of those days.
Towards the end of the episode B'Elanna was floating in space with a
cocky pilot by the name of Tom. When they had only a few seconds left of
air, B'Elanna told Tom something that could have a profound affect on their
lives.
After the episode Mac tuned off the T.V. and called a certain cocky
pilot she knew and told him something that could have a profound affect on
their lives.
Okay I finally finished my first story and if I get good reviews I may write
one like "Drive". Thanks for reading ?
