Oh, all the teachers are made up since I couldn't find anything except Dumbledore as Transfigurations. If you know anything, please tell me.
~~~~~~~~~~ The young woman stepped up to the sorting hat when the Headmistress called her name. "Rotherham, Adelaide" she sat on the stool as the hat was set upon her head.
"Another Rotherham," the hat mussed. "I remember the Rotherhams, slytheryns, always." The hat chuckled. "But not you..." the girl gasped. She knew what would happen if she wasn't a slytheryns. She'd be drowned in the pond for sure. "You're too kind hearted, but in a twisted way...maybe...yes, you have the distinct Rotherham Muggle Hatred." She breathed a bit easier. "You'd do well in Ravenclaw, but I see better things for you in Slytheryn." She stood as the hat called out her house.
"Hello miss Rotherham" a blonde haired Slytheryn said, pushing someone out of the way to make room for her to sit. "My name is Lucious Malfoy." She smiled and nodded, taking the seat on the bench he offered her. "Watch who you make friends with. even among Slytheryn, there are impurities." She nodded again, not sure where he was getting with this. "I offer you my friendship, Adelaide. The Rotherham Clan is Infamous and there are some who would try to take advantage of you." She nodded again, not sure what to say.
The young woman across the table leaned over. "That look you had Adelaide, this the sorting hat almost put you somewhere else?" the girl nodded, starting to feel a bit at home here. The boy she had met on the train sat down next to her, his greasy black hair getting some weird looks.
"Yeah, it threatened to put me in Ravenclaw." She shuddered. "There's a reason no Rotherham ever graduated from any house other than Slytheryn. They're drowned before school starts up for their second year." Lucious raised an eyebrow as the girl across the table spoke up.
"That's quite harsh. The most my cousin, Sirius will get for being in Griffindor is disownment." She smiled over her food. "My name is Narcissia," she pointed to the two girls on either side of her. "These are my sisters, Andromeda and Bellatrix." The two girls acknowledged the fact that they were mentioned, than turned back to their food.
Before long, the banquet was over, and Lucious lead the first years up to the dorm. "The password is Serpent. Don't forget it. I'm only telling you once." He glared at the first years before turning and saying the password, opening the door for them all. He ducked out of sight, leaving Adelaide alone with Narcissia Black.
"Come on now. You're probably very tired." She was right. Adelaide was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
