A/N This was inspired by Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You". Thanks to gingerroot15 for the idea.

Walt looked around. The whole place seemed cold and unfriendly. It was a factory and he was told to wait here by a note. He started to wonder if he was dreaming.

He wondered what he was doing. He was always wondering, ever since he found out about the curse. It seemed to follow him everywhere. He couldn't get a girlfriend, or a job, or anything. He stayed away from people because he didn't want them to be hurt.

But these people, they might give him a cure. They might help him get rid of the curse. And that's why he was here. No other reason. At all. Because he could look for a life after the curse. He wondered what his life would be like after the curse. His whole life was spent trying to find a cure. Maybe after he cured himself, he would be able to find a girl. Settle down for a bit. He didn't want to think about what would happen if he didn't find a cure. He shivered and wrapped his coat around himself.

"Is there anybody down there? It's bloody cold!" A female voice with a British accent was yelling.

It took Walt a moment to find his voice. "Yeah!"

"Well, whoever you are, you better come here fast before you freeze." Another voice, a male's yelled down.

"Go where?" If he was in a crowd, Walt thought he'd be shipped off to a mental institution. The sources of the two voices seemed to come from nowhere, and it didn't help that they echoed everywhere.

"Up here, silly!" It was the girl's voice again. Walt looked up…and gaped. There was a huge mansion in front of him and all he could do was gape. He quickly closed him mouth and went up the stairs. Halfway down, he bumped into a girl. She had green streaks running through her hair. "Watch where you're bloody going!" It was the British girl. The girl glared at him angrily.

Walt couldn't talk. He couldn't even speak. There was something about her, something about the girl that drew him in. He couldn't help it. He opened his mouth a few times, but nothing came out. She tapped her foot impatiently. "Well?" She asked.

"I'm Walt." He managed to choke out.

"Walt? As in Walt Disney?"

"Very funny Sadie." The guy's voice belonged to an African-American dude. He had an air of authority around him. "So you're our new trainee." The boy surveyed him.

"Stop embarrassing him Carter." The girl, Sadie, said. "He's pink."

"It's just cold." Walt chattered.

"Right. Let's get you in there." Carter held out his hand. "Welcome to Amos's mansion."

A/N And the rest is history. Hoped you liked it!
