A/N: There is a system error in FFnet, Error Type 2. A lot of authors have a hard time with the publishing, so here's the solution to the problem: To update stories, change that one word, "properties," in the address bar into "content". It should go to the update page. To publish new stories, select a smaller fandom for the category first, then change it after you're done (the bad thing about this is that you can't select characters). Hope that helps. This problem has been very troublesome to me also :).
