Miley loves Jake and nothing can seem to change that. Did you notice the one word that has the power to put their relationship on a plane? The one 4-letter-word that eventually does send their relationship on a plane. The destination? Far, far away. It's kind of sad, this word, it has the power to send any relationship flying. But, Miley and Jake weren't warned about this 4-letter-word. Seem is the word. You make think 'oh, the word seem? This writer is nuts. What can seem do?' But, I'll tell ya something; things can SEEM safe, but really aren't… things can SEEM perfect, but really are far from it… and, relationships can definitely SEEM like they will be forever, but don't last 2 days. It works.. Well, it works somehow. It works fast better describes 'seem', though. It gets to work not a second after it has a chance. And, it works… fast.
"Hey, hey Miley! What's up buttercup?" Jake asked sweetly. "Oh, that is so cute…actually is was cute the 1st time you used it!" Miley laughed. "How many times have I used that one?" Jake sighed. "One, two, three…" Miley counted. "I see. Well, I won't use it again?" Jake offered. "*sigh* Ok. But, you better not-" Miley was interrupted by Lilly rushing up to them. "Miley! There's a new kid and I think you know why I'm telling you this!" Lilly sang. "No, Lilly, I don't want any new boyfriend. That was kind of rude for you to come up and do that right in front of my real boyfriend. "No, Miley! Not what I meant. This new kid has is a tutor!" Lilly said happily. "I still am not dating him! I don't care if he's smart! Heck, I don't care if he is the smartest guy on earth! I love Jake." Miley proclaimed. "No, no. I meant he has an A+ in Spanish… you don't." Lilly explained pitifully. "So?" Miley half-yelled. "So he can tutor you in Spanish! Then your dad will let you go to the trip to London next week!" Lilly exclaimed. Miley and Lilly started rejoicing and singing, "We're goin' to London. We're goin' to London… we think!". "But, wait, I may not have strait A's, but I have strait C+'s. I can tutor you!" Jake called out, interrupting their joy dance. "Umm, Jake, no offence, but I need an A not a C, so I'll have to go with the new kid. Uhh sorry." Miley said. Then, she turned to Lilly. "So what's his name?" Miley asked anxiously. "Jesse!" Lilly exclaimed. "Wow! I can't wait for London!"
