Unforgiving Sin

He looked up at the stars. The night sky was clear and he could see every star that shone. He thought back to the night that Aya woke up. He wasn't even there to be the first one she saw when she woke, like he had planned it to be. Aya didn't even know that Ran was alive. He just stayed in the darkness and watched her from afar.

He was also in Weiss, and he didn't want her to know what he had done. He often cursed himself for blooding her name that way he did. He knew that if she found out about what he was or what he did with her name she would shun him. And he didn't want her to do that. He wanted her to live a good life. Even if she knew he was alive, she wouldn't forgive him for what he had done.

He looked down to the street. He thought that if he joined Weiss then he would get his revenge and be happy. But when he got it he wasn't happy. He thought some way it would bring Aya back but it didn't. Then the very thing he thought that would help him, ended up almost killing the only one he cherished.

But now Weiss had broken up. Ken went to Australia to be with Yuriko; Yohji finally gave up his playboying ways and settled down with a very caring woman; and Omi went through training to take his father's place in Kritiker.

There was also a second reason why he had join Weiss. He also wanted to be part of something. He had no family that cared for him besides Aya but she probably thought he was dead. He had also hoped to become close to the guys. And he did become close to them even if he didn't show it. He didn't know how to show he cared. He had locked that part of him back into his memory and was a little scared to bring it out. Scared that he would get hurt again.

But now everything that he loved was either gone or too dangerous to have. He had nothing left. Only his blood stained hands to keep him company. No one knew he was alive, and he couldn't bear to live knowing that he would still be a threat to her. He knew that of he died it would be on the news and Aya would find out that he was alive but he knew it would be better that way. Then she would be out of danger.

He drew his sword and looked at the blade as the moon made it shine. He should die the way he made his victims die. Kill himself with what started all of his killing. End it right there with a single thrust.

He put the point of the sword to his heart. A few tears rolled down his face, but not from the little prick he felt from the blade, but from knowing that he was going to be leaving Aya for good this time.

"Goodbye Aya. I hope you live a very happy life from now on," he said aloud.

He never heard his sin be forgiven by the one he loved the most in world. He never saw the tears as Aya cried when they buried him the ground. With that one thrust with his sword he ended his life in hopes to let others live.
