"I don't want to be just another notch in your damn bedpost!" Jo had cried, tears blurring her already red and puffy eyes. Her gaze was intense and as far as Dean was concerned, she was as beautiful as she'd ever been. "If you're going to die…I don't just want one night. One night to cry over…one night to remember the rest of my life while your six feet under. Do you ever think about your actions? GET OUT WINCHESTER!" her words had started in a whisper, only gaining volume as she continued to scream at him.

"Jo—I'm going to find a way out, I won't die." he tried, touching her cheek gently but she jerked away within seconds. His touch burned her skin, and she wasn't sure if that was good or bad. "Trust me?" his voice, along with his eyes, were full of pain.

"Get out…."

"No."

"Please?"

"No"

"Why?"

"I love you"

There was a long pause and jo almost hadn't believed him at first. She swallowed hard and met his eyes slowly.

"I love you too"

"Trust me?"

"I can't..."

"LOVE INVOLVES TRUST!"

"IT ALSO ENSURES THAT YOU'LL BE HERE AND WON'T DIE DEAN!"

Jo let out a sob and Dean had grown quite.

"I don't want to live like that, knowing you could die at any second, knowing I could never get you ba—"

Dean cut her off with a long, passionate kiss and she slowly returned it. It was nice and she didn't want to let her go.

"I promise you Jo…"

"Dean I—"

He pressed a finger to her lips and smiled softly.

"Trust me?"

"….."

"Please Jo?"

"A-alright..."

Two days later, Dean didn't answer his cell phone…

Three days later, Dean's heart stopped beating…

Four days later, Sam Winchester made the calls…

Five days later, Jo made a deal…

Six days later, Dean's heart started beating…

Five happy years later, Jo disappeared…

That was it. She had never told anyone, so no one knew. She sacrificed herself for him.
