AN: This is a short Alternate Universe for the royal family. In the anime, it is quite evident that Ryo treats both Tsubasa and Hikaru as if they were his own children. Honestly, I'm trying to think about a story event for my new found favourite anime, Future Card BuddyFight (AKA: BuddyFight). My new favourite pair for that anime is Kazane Fujimiya & Rouga Aragami. Other than that, it is a pretty cool anime.

Prologue

Timid and frightened, a young Hikaru Hasama hides behind a young Tsubasa Otori as his small boyish body barely over towers hers.

"Hikaru," Tsubasa said looking over his shoulder at the timid girl hiding behind him. "It is going to be all right. You don't have to be afraid." The young Tsubasa adds with his warm and charming smile. He reaches his small boyish hand to grasp hold of her small girlish hand in his. And, holds onto her hand in a firm grip. Tsubasa quietly continues - in a soft whisper - to reassure the young timid Hikaru that he will always remain at her side.

The timid girl shyly giggles to herself as she lowers her head down to rest her forehead against his backside. Soon after her giggling stops, the young Hikaru shyly smiles in relief. She lightly squeezes her handgrip in his hand that still holds hers.

Soon a nursemaid comes to greet her young highnesses with a respectful bow of her head. Hikaru still feeling somewhat shy still hides behind Tsubasa.

There is a young redheaded boy at the nursemaid's side. He squeezes his fist on her apron as he looks at the two other children before him with his father.

"Gingka, my son, I have brought you some playmates. So that you will no longer be so lonely when I must leave for special business." King Ryo said to his son. He rests his hands on Tsubasa's small shoulder blades. "His name is Tsubasa."

Gingka silently observes the young boy that is around the same age as him. "Hello there. I'm Gingka, Crown Prince of Leaves." He said with a smile on his face.

"Hello." Tsubasa said with a returning charming smile.

"This girl's name is Hikaru." King Ryo said, gesturing his hand to the bluenette girl that is still holding onto Tsubasa's hand.

"I'm very happy, Father." Gingka replies, looking up at his father. "I have two playmates. Even better, I finally have a new brother and a new sister."
