Stupid
I was submerged in Mr. Davenports indoor pool.
Dumb
My eyes open staring through the glass roof at the full moon.
Unintelligent
I was thinking about all the insults given to my by bullies, friends, and worst of all, my family.
Dull
I know I'm not the most intelligent person, but I try really hard to understand. I just have a hard time keeping up and focusing sometimes.
Brainless
I want to give up on school.
Dim
But then I would be demeaned a failure, just another insult to add to the list.
Inane
My lungs are burning for oxygen, but I don't want to leave the peace of the water just yet.
Calm
"Adam!" I hear someone call; I guess the noticed I was missing from my capsule.
Ignorant
My tranquil state was ruined.
A/N: I wrote this story to explain why Adam is the way he is. I'm a little nervous about publishing this, because it's not my usual writing style.
