Author's Notes: Hi. This is my first fanfic so...uh...yeah... I need a beta reader so please email me at UberSuperMoo@insightbb.com if you're interested. Nothing in the Harry Potter Universe

belongs to me so don't sue. The chapters should be coming out kind of fast, so keep checking back.

Enjoy!

Something was... different. It woke Harry up. He went to his window and looked out. Standing in the street was a figure. As its' face moved to look up at him, he could see that it was a girl. The moonlight streamed around her form as the clouds moved out of the way. She had short, dark hair, and was wearing regular muggle clothing, jeans and a T-shirt. He blinked, and she was gone. He filed the sight as his imagination. He didn't remember in the morning and not for the rest of the summer either. Then it came to the day when he would be returning to Hogwarts for his sixth year.

Harry was on the train to Hogwarts, trying to find an open car. Finally he found one with only one occupant. "Er- may I sit in this compartment?" Harry asked. The person- girl, as he saw when she turned- nodded. Her face was familiar to him. She looked oriental. She had her short reddish black hair spiked up in the back and had a headband on. She looked sleepy. " I'm--" she stopped as a yawn overcame her. "I'm Eryn. Feel free to invite anyone else in. I'm gonna put my earphones on and then take a nap. By the way, you are Harry Potter, right? I can kinda see the scar." Harry noticed her accent. " Yes, that's me. Er, are you from America? I mean, you don't look American." He asked hesitantly. " Oh, yeah. I'm from America. We moved here over the summer. I'm a 4th year. I don't look American cause my dad is half Thai. As in Thailand." She added at Harry's confused face. Suddenly, the compartment door opened. " Harry! There you are. We've been looking all over for you." Hermione and Ron were standing there. They came in and sat down, Ron next to Harry, Hermione next to Eryn. "Um.. Hi?" Eryn said meekly. " Guys, this in Eryn. She's a fourth year." Harry supplied. "Oh. I didn't see you. I'm Hermione Granger. Good to meet you." Hermione said politely. "Ron Weasley." Ron piped up. " Nice to meet you, too. I'm gonna listen to my CD player now, before it won't work in Hogwarts. If you would, could you tell me when we are almost there? I wan't to take a nap, too." Eryn asked politely. "Sure." Harry said. " Great. Thanks." She said before she smiled and pulled her headphones on. She fiddled with the volume for a minute then closed her eyes and let the soothing sounds of Evanescence blare into her ears. Through her slightly closed eyelids, she could see Harry, Ron, and Hermione talking before sleep overtook her.

Eryn woke up to a hand shaking her softly. She looked up into the startlingly green eyes of Harry. She yawned. " How close are we?" "Oh, about fifteen minutes. You should get your robes on." Soon the Hogwarts Express was pulling into the station. " Well, I guess I'll see you around. Bye!" Eryn said to the three Gryffndors as they stepped out of the train. "Eryn Raine? I'm Minerva McGonagall, your Transfiguration teacher. You will call me Professor McGonagall. Please follow me and I'll show you to the Great Hall." As they walked toward the horseless carriages, Eryn looked up at Hogwarts and murmured an almost inaudible 'Whoa.'
