Five-year-old Olorin lead a small group of young Maiar up to Yavana, though the long green grass under the light of the two gold and silver lamps during the spring of Arda.

"Lady Yavana," he said, "allow me to introduce Ilmare, Eonwe, Osse, Uinin, and the leader of our company, Melian.

Thousands of years later...

"Bilbo Baggins," said Gandalf, "allow me to introduce Oin, Gloin, Balin, Dwalin, Bifer, Bofer, Bomber, Fili, Kili, Ori, Nori, Dori, and the leader of our company, Thorin Oakenshield."

This he said out loud, while in his head he was thinking: 'why does this seem familer?'

A bit of background for those who don't know. Gandalf is a Maia, one of the Maiar, who were made by Illuvatar, the 'God' of Middle-earth, if you will, before Arda. (Middle-earth) Yavana was also made before Arda, but she is of the Valar, greater than the Maiar. The other young Maiar are all mentioned in the Silmarilian. The Spring of Arda was the time before Morgoth, the teacher of Sauron and the creator of the Balrog, marred Middle-earth. And of course everyone knows Thorin and Co.

I'd like everone to know, I managed this in one hundred words, exactly.

Hope you all enjoyed, please review, even if you didn't. I appreciate them all.

May the Valar speed your pen,
Nimrodel
