I Missed You
Scar was making his way back to Pride Rock from his meeting with the hyenas, as he slinked his way up on the great landmark he was thinking in his mind how fool proof his plan is, even those moronic trio couldn't mess this up. Scar stopped for a moment and stared at the den, he walked to the entrance and looked inside, everyone was sleeping Scar's eyes stared at the direction of the raised rock was where the King, his Queen and young Prince slept.
Scar glared at Mufasa sleeping form, 'Father, dear, favorite son.' Scar hissed in his mind. Then his anger disappeared and a wicked smiled was in its place. 'Soon a new era will rise.' The dark lion chanted inwardly. Sarafina stirred in her sleep, she opened her eyes and saw Scar standing at the mouth of the den, Scar didn't noticed that she was awake then he turned and left to his cliff on the side of Pride Rock.
Sarafina wanted to know if her childhood friend was alright, she looked down at her daughter in her paws sleeping peacefully then the mother gently moved Nala next to Kula and her mother, Kala. Sarafina made sure that Nala was still sleeping then she stretched out her limbs and went after the dark lion, as she made her way up to Scar's cliff she remembered the time when they were cubs back to when a sweet cub named Taka was her best friend in the whole pride, that all seem like a lifetime ago to Sarafina. She reached Scar's cliff, Scar was just sitting there looking out at the savannah in a deep thought.
Sarafina strolled up next to him, sat down and smiled at him. "Why if it isn't Sarafina." Scar retorted coldly then his examined his claw. "To what do I owe for this unexpected visited?"
The lioness didn't let Scar's coldness get to her, she smiled warmly at him. "I wanted to see if you were okay, its been awhile since we last talked."
"Well as you can plainly see I'm just fine and we've talked, so goodnight." Scar replied sourly. Sarafina just shook her head at the broody lion then she looked around at the cliff, this was Queen Uru's favorite spot. The lioness remembered when she, Taka and Queen Uru used to play 'I spied' on this cliff.
"I miss her." Sarafina said softly, Scar realized whom she meant his heart was heavy by the memories of his mother.
"As do I." Scar sighed quietly gazing at the stars. Sarafina looked at Scar's face it was gentle and sad, he seem like a lost cub and now his once cold eyes had warmth and shined like bight green stars.
The lion sitting before her was not Scar anymore but Taka, the lion she loved since they were cubs, but as they got older he started to change from her sweet Taka to the bitter lion that became Scar. Their friendship was strain after he got his scar and as time passed Sarafina tried to get rid of her feeling for Taka by finding love with another lion but even the most loving and caring lion could not win her heart completely.
Now was her chance to be with the one she loves, Sarafina pressed her body against 'Taka' nuzzling her face in his jet black mane.
'Taka' froze when he felt Sarafina snuggling on him. "My sweet Taka, I missed you the most." Sarafina said affectionately gazing deeply into his eyes. 'Taka' stared at her like he was seeing her first time, he never noticed how beautiful she is. 'Taka' smiled warmly at her and nuzzled her back.
"I missed you too, Fina." He said gently, Sarafina purred at her nickname.
And on that passion filled night, Sarafina and 'Taka' were finally together, but tomorrow that will all change.
