They digivices were broken. Since joining DATS, Thomas had never felt more like a sitting duck. Gaomon had always been there to protect him.
He still was there, but now they were up against those biohybrids who were able to surpass their ultimate evolution digimon. And they were up against the Gizumon they could barely fend off at ultimate. And, to top it all up, Kurata, who'd bested them so many times and driven them into this corner.
Thomas didn't like the idea of being vulnerable and – without their digivices – that was exactly what they were. Even with their partners.
