In the hospital…….

"Mikan……". The brunette was still half unconscious when she heard someone calling out her name. she was sure that somebody was beside her so she started to open her eyes as she saw faces staring at her. It was her friends who were looking worried at her. "where am I?," Mikan finally spoke. "you're in the hospital" Hotaru said with an emotionless face.

"Huh?" Mikan was dumbfounded. "Why?" she asked looking half-witted.

"You mean you don't remember anything polkadots?" Natsume asked without looking at the brunette. Mikan shifted her gaze on the crimson- eyed lad that had spoken and suddenly got annoyed on his presence. She didn't even know that Natsume was there but nor she was happy to see him. 'hmmp, why should he be here when he didn't even gave an effort attending on my birthday!' mikan thought in anger. Her thought was interrupted by Ruka when he said, "Natsume found you in the Northern forest."

Mikan began to think deeply about what had happened to her before she got into the hospital but can't remember a thing. All she knew was that she went to Northern Forest to find Natsume.

"so what the heck are you doing there polkadots? You're really an idiot you know.." Natsume blurted out in an irritated tone.

Mikan became furious and replied,"I'm searching for you pervert!!And don't call me polkadots!!"

"Hey! Stop fighting already ok?," Mr. Narumi said in a relaxed way as he entered the room. He always sees Mikan and Natsume fighting but he knows that they loved each other very much. Nastume isn't just the guy who is sweet and loving to his girlfriend in front of others and Mikan is just loud mouthed as always.

"Tch," Natsume said as he left the room.

" Why is Nastume always liked that.. He's so annoying" Mikan muttered so that nobody can hear her. Silence swallowed the room for a while. Mr. Narumi was still standing on the same spot when he arrived, looking more serious than ever. Finally he decided to break the silence and said to everyone, "Can you all come out for a while? I have something important to tell to Mikan."

" Ok we'll be there if you need us Mikan!",Ruka suddenly uttered in a loud voice. "Ouch…"Ruka grumbled as Hotaru hit his head with a fan. "Hey what's that for.?", Ruka exclaimed as he looked at Hotaru."Lower your voice idiot.."

"Bye Mikan-chan.." Nonoko and Anna chirped.

Mikan smiled at them and said," Thanks to all of you.." , then smiled again. Mr. Narumi stared at Mikan who is still smiling and was thinking whether he should tell to Mikan the bad news because she might spoil the brunette's happiness.

"So Mr. Narumi , what would you like to say?" Mikan said as she smelled the bouquet of roses that was left at the side table. 'Mmm..roses are really nice.. I wonder if Natsume gave it to me..'

"Uhm.. Mikan.."Mr. Narumi said in low voice.

"I'm afraid I have a bad news for you.."

"Eh?", Mikan muttered with a worried look.

"Yo-ure…aa-lice.."Mr. Narumi's voice began to stutter as he continued to speak.

"It's... been.. stolen....".
