Chapter 1
Summary:Kagome and the gang defeated Naraku and completed the sacred jewel 2 ½ years ago. After her journey was completed she was transported back to her time and the well sealed. Now in the future with a job and normal life Kagome dreams of the old days where everyday of her life was an adventure and a struggle. One day she is visited by someone who she never thought she would see again. When she sat down to talk to them they give her some shocking news. It turns out that her destiny is not done but in order to achieve her destiny she must first find it or should I say them. When she runs into the deadly but sexy Taiyoukai Sesshomaru will he help her achieve her destiny or kill her? While searching for her destiny will Kagome find love or will she end up alone for the remainder of her life which thanks the sacred jewel may be a long time.
*sigh*( Who would have thought that it's been five years since I first fell down the Bone eaters well and met the gang! We have all grown so much since then but I just can't believe that my adventure with the guys is over, it seems like just yesterday when we were trying to gather the jewel shards and defeat Naraku.)
All the thoughts going through twenty year old Kagome's head was not helping with the paperwork she was supposed to be doing. "Kagome the boss needs that paperwork asap so stop day dreaming and get to work!" says Shinji a worker who was barely above her in rank but thinks he is second in command.
"All right Shinji I'm on it!" says Kagome as she stares at the six foot tall man. "Hurry up and don't let me catch you slacking off again or I'm going to get the boss." He says as he turns around and leaves the office.
"Whatever you say Shinji, should I call you your majesty as well?" she says mockingly as she glares at the space where her fellow employee was standing. She slowly starts to work on her paperwork so she can get done.
4 Hours Later
*Sigh* "I'm finally done with all of this stupid paperwork. Why did I even agree to take this job in the first place? Oh yeah Eri, Yumi, and Ayumi talked me into taking job. Everything's changed since most of my friends went off to college and I had to stay here because I missed so much school there was no way I could catch up in time to graduate with everyone else!" she says as she gets up and takes the paperwork to Shinji *knock knock* "Shinji I'm done with the paperwork now."
She opens the door to see Shinji asleep at his desk. She gets angry because he was telling her to hurry up and stop slacking off but here he is asleep at work. "How dare he gets angry at me for daydreaming and here he is asleep." Just as she walks up to the desk and place the papers on his desk with a note telling him that she was done for the day and that she was leaving, when he stirred a little and then mumbled something that made her freeze in midstep.
"Oh Kagome my love you should really be careful in your condition. We wouldn't want you to hurt the baby now would we?" he said then fell fully back to sleep. "Oh my god, he's in love with me? *gasp* it all makes since now the subtle movements he makes, the grabbing my shoulder, brushing against me when he walks by me, and the gift that mysteriously appeared on my desk for my birthday and no one knew how it got there or who sent it." Kagome opens the office door and gasps at who she sees standing there.
