A/N: This is my first fanfic, so I decided to do a little Grayza oneshot. Please be nice and review!

"Hey, Droopy Eyes!" Natsu yells from across the room.

"What did you say Slanty Eyes?" I replied.

I don't even know why we bothered to fight anymore. I guess it was just what we always did. And Erza would always stop us. I smiled. Cana was right. My luck was brilliant that day.

"What are you guys doing!" Erza's sharp voice shattered my thoughts and brought me back to the present, stopping our fights like she has always done.

"Erza, are you okay?" Lucy asked timidly

"I'm fine", she snapped.

That was when I looked at her face. She was angrier than I had ever seen her. Erza was most definitely not fine.

She stomped away without a glance at anyone.

"Hey Gray, why don't you go after her?" Natsu joked.

"Don't be silly", I replied. "She gets along much better with Lucy."

"No!" Lucy exclaimed. "I'll get killed!"

"I suppose I'll have to go after her then"

"Aye!"

"Come to my funeral then", I smiled.

"Of course", Lucy rolled her eyes.

I tentatively walked out the door. Erza wasn't there. I sighed and decided to check somewhere else. The place I found her crying when we were both little.

There she was, sitting looking out into the ocean.

"Erza", I said.

Startled, she looked at me. "Gray, why are you here?"

"Erza, I'm your friend. If something's bothering you, you can tell me, you know", I reminded her.

She sighed. "It's Jellal."

I didn't ask any more questions. The topic of Jellal... Well, let's just say it wasn't safe. "Erza, I'm here for you."

A tear trickled down her cheek. "I know, Gray."

I pulled her into a hug. "Erza, you're okay. I'm here."

"I know, Gray", she repeated.

I made her face me. "Erza, Jellal is an idiot, hurting you."

That made her smile, however briefly.

I leaned down, and my lips found hers. We stayed in that position for a while, until she broke away, and looked at me with amazement.

"I love you", I stated simply.

Erza gasped slightly and answered, "I love you too, Gray."

"Do you want to return to Fairy Tail now?" I asked gently.

She nodded.

We slowly made our way back, her leaning against my shoulder. I felt her relax, as all her worries about Jellal disappeared. It was a new beginning, for both of us.
