"Okay, Hiccup," Astrid agreed to keep the Nest location a secret.
"Thank you," Hiccup replied, "Astrid?"
"Yeah?" She replied, trying to keep a straight face as she stared into his sparkling emeralds for eyes.
"Do you care about me?" Hiccup asked.
"Yeah, I guess," she replied
"Then why? Why do you just let them treat me like that?"
"I-I," Astrid started before
Do you know how hard it is to keep a secret,
From the person you hold so close.
To ignore and isolate them,
Despite the pain they go through.
The truth I hide from him,
tears me apart inside.
I can't keep it in,
the Gods know I've tried.
Don't let him in. Don't let him see,
be the viking you always had to be.
Conceal, don't feel, don't let him know,
Well now he knows.
Let it go, let it go,
can't hold it back anymore.
Let it go, let it go,
turn and let your freed heart soar.
I don't care,
What they're going to say.
I've reformed myself,
The cold never bothered me anyway.
Astrid turned back and looked back into Hiccup's eyes before punching him in the shoulder. "That's for kidnapping me," she told him before planting a kiss on his lips, "that's for everything else," and leaving the Cove.
As she ran back to the village, she continued singing to herself.
No right, no wrong 'cause finally,
I'm free.
Let it go, let it go,
I'm as new as the break of dawn.
Let it go, let it go,
my ignorance is gone.
Here I stand,
in the light of day.
Let the storm rage on,
the cold never bothered me anyway.
