In a small town that would remind you of feudal Japan stood a hut with a slightly tall man with long red hair and green eyes was lying down on a makeshift bed, he got up and walked up to a bowl filled with water and placed his face into the bowl as a loud knock was heard by his ears, the man would walk up to the door and open it. "Severo Tamashī, time to pay tribute. If you can't pay up then ja-" The officer was interrupted by Severo yawning and placed his hand in a pocket in his haori, he pulls out three silver. "Yeah, yeah. 'If you can't or don't pay then you'll be locked up and be forced to do hard labor." Severo said with an irritated expression as he hands the silver to the officer. "You're seven silvers short boy, Ladrillo take that bed of his." The officer ordered as Severo took a sidestep to let the other officer in. "Great, it's always nice to do work with you guys." Severo said sarcastically as the officer grabs onto Severo and throws him out of the hut. "Break some of his bones men, we don't need to deal with ass hats." The officer said while walking away from the scene while three other officers started to beat up on Severo, after a while Severo laid on the ground beaten and broken. "Why didn't you fight back, mister?" A kid asked as he walked up to Severo and reached out his hand to Severo to see if Severo needed help, Severo sat up before slowly getting up and dusts himself off. "I'd get in trouble if I did, more trouble than I was. Anyways, you can't expect to win when there's three people beating your ass." Severo said in response as he starts walking off to where he works which is a small bar that is very close by, when Severo walked in the smell of puke, piss and alcohol filled the air and humid. "Hey there Sev, a little help here?" A slightly than taller average normal female wearing a white sleeveless shirt with a brown short skirt asked Severo with a curious expression, her hair was brown and up in a messy ponytail with her piercing icy blue eyes gazing towards the man. Severo sighs before he nods as he starts walking towards the girl with a blank expression. "Whatcha need, Ame?" Severo asked as he crosses his arms and slouches a bit, he looks to the side while hearing loud noises coming from the room behind Ame. "Well, someone is causing some ruckus and I thought that you could deal with him?" Ame asked with the same curious expression as she pats Severo's head before Severo softly bites her fingers. "OUCH, that hurts!" Ame would yell out while shaking her hand and playfully pouts, Severo yawns and nonchalantly speaks out while stretching out. "Then don't pat my head, I'm surprised that you haven't given up on that. Anyways, I'll deal with this person who's causing some trouble." Severo started walking into the other room seeing the guy who was making the scene, the man looked well off to be a local of the town and is quite a short person. "Sir, I'm going to ask you to leave." Severo said to the man who has a curly mustache and the side of his hair buzz cut. "Oh? Do you have any clue who you're talking to? I am Baxte-" The man was interrupted by Severo punching him in the throat, Severo would stare at the man with piercing eyes and an angered expression. "I don't give a shit who you are, leave or get your ass kicked." Severo said with a irritated tone while pointing to the door.
