Walking the hallways of Auradon prep just after breakfast, Mal barely looked up from her phone as she typed a quick text to her group chat. She knew exactly where to step and how many steps she needed before she should turn or move out of the way of a couple kissing against the lockers or a teacher lecturing a student.
The repetitiveness was always the same. The same students, the same places, the same problems.
Mal knew that just up ahead, one of the schools' more well-known couples, a minor princess named Alexis and her swim-team boyfriend Klaus, would be arguing about something trivial in front of one of the history classrooms, parallel to Mal's locker. The arguments usually served as Mal's morning entertainment before her classes started.
"Gods! You never listen to me!" Alexis hissed, throwing her hands up in frustration. Mal geared up in anticipation. That was usually the opening line when Alexis took the attack.
Mal's shoulders tenses as she fiddled with her lock, waiting for Klaus' usually callous barbs in return.
"Ha, get over yourself!" he said, dryly laughing in mocking reply. "All you do is talk utter shit so why would I listen half the time. I mean, who cares if Angelica has the same gym shoes as you?"
Mal's phone buzzed in her pocket but she ignored it, busying herself with nitpicking the contents of her locker so that she could hear the rest of the argument.
"Why is it that after a great night in bed you are so bitchy the next morning?" Klaus asked and Mal's eyes widened. The couples' bedroom activities had never been touched upon before. Mal hadn't even known the couple were even at that stage which was a bit of a big deal to the Auradon kids, or so she presumed.
It was Alexis' turn to snort now. "A great night," she replied stonily, folding her arms over her chest. "I fake it, that's why. I have all of this unreleased frustration and then you finish after a couple of minutes and I have to fake it."
Mal could barely believe her ears, let alone keep her cool. She must have made some sort of noise because the couple turned and seemed to realise they weren't alone.
"Just great. Have fun eavesdropping did you?" Alexis seethed, flipping her long dark hair over her shoulder with a glare.
"It's not her fault, we are in the middle of the corridor," Klaus came to Mal's defence and both girls looked at him with frowns, knowing that that was not the right answer.
"If you want him, have him. He's a Minute Man anyway," Alexis said to Mal before giving a dirty look to the boy and walking away, hips swinging as the dark skinned boy's jaw dropped in disbelief.
"She broke up with me?" he said dumbly as Mal shut her locker with a bang and fished her phone out of her back pocket to read her texts.
"No wonder. Faking it is probably exhausting," Mal muttered but the swimmer heard and he turned, cornering the smaller girl up against her locker. He had a good foot or so of height over her but Mal's unimpressed face made him retreat back a bit.
"What? So you're some kind of all-knowing sex goddess now? Huh?" he retorted, kicking at the floor as Mal cocked her head in thought.
"Actually, yeah, I think I could help you out," she told him, sending a text to Evie as she said it.
"I just broke up with my girlfriend. I don't know how they do it on the Isle but I'm not sleeping with you to get her back," Klaus said with a frown and Mal shook her head.
"What? Gods no! I think I can help you ditch the Minute Man status in a way that doesn't include me sleeping with you in any way, shape or form, alright?"
Klaus ran a hand over his buzzed hair, looking back down the corridor where Alexis had sauntered away. "Why would you help me?"
Mal smirked and if the swimmer had been Jay, he would have known to be wary, but he wasn't the thief and so Klaus just smiled back, confused at the mornings events. "I'll help you but at a cost. This isn't going to be free."
"Why would I pay you! I could just search up solutions on the web," Klaus countered and Mal's smirk became a fully fledged feline grin.
"Search on the school's wifi? Where they track everything and report inappropriate usage to parents and restrict internet use? I don't think you will, and besides, I don't think the rest of the female population will come anywhere near you if they have to fake it, do you Minute Man?"
Watch Sex Education on netflix! That was my inspo for this new story. I will be including the usual suspects (The VKS, Ben, Jane, Lonnie, Gil and Harry) and it will be a fun, light-hearted, possibly smutty story about Mal and Evie basically running a sex and relationship clinic for the kids at Auradon.
As always, please review, favourite and follow and ENJOY
