Footsteps raced down the alleyway.
The cloaked figure glanced nervously over his shoulder as he sprinted away from his pursuer.
Although he could not see anything he knew he was being watched. And followed.
Coming to a halt he leaned against a cold brick wall hidden in the shadows, gasping for breath.
Maybe I escaped, the figure thought nervously. Reaching up they pulled down their hood to reveal a man with short shaggy hair and murky brown eyes.
He slumped against the wall even further and slid down.
"Keri," an emotionless voice cut through the night air. The man gasped and shot up onto his feet.
"So y-you found me," he stammered, gazing at the newcomer. His eyes widen in surprise as he noticed it was a woman, no, a girl, no older than 16.
She smirked and let out a chuckle that sent shivers down his spine.
"I never lost you." Her smirked got wider.
"Who are you?" Keri asked the girl.
"Me? Oh no one important," she replied, "Just someone sent to end your miserable life on this world."
Keri took a step back. "So you're the infamous Sigma, eh? The great assassin who has never failed at a mission."
She just stared at him with an unreadable expression.
She stepped closer to him and he finally got a good look at her.
He had to admit that she was beautiful, in a deadly way. Her mocha skin contrasted nicely with her bewitching blue eyes. Her figure was toned and he could see her every curve thanks to the skin tight black suit that adorned her body.
Wait, what am I thinking? She was sent here to kill me.
"You are correct, I am Sigma. But that does not matter. What matters is the amount of information you leaked to the Earth Kingdom. We know all about that." She glared at him coldly; yes she was definitely deadly beautiful.
"For your betrayal the Fire Lord has charged you with treason, and you have been sentenced to death." With the last word uttered, she slipped a dagger out of her sleeve and sent it straight at Keri's heart.
Gasping in pain, Keri fell to the dirty floor of the alleyway, dead in a matter of seconds.
Spinning around the girl, Sigma, stalked off down the alley.
Her job was done.
