Kurapika wanted to preserve her, alive and whole, as much as he could. Her brown hair, green eyes, olive skin—an ethereal, eternal figure from his memory. Almost like a ghost haunting his mind. She was a care, a tradition. A vital part of his life. And so, she must always be remembered, Kurapika decreed.

But Time is never considerate, and the Kuruta found her faded, almost nonexistent, in his memory.
