Beep Beep; ugh its 6:45 and I start my first day of High School at Panam High. I put on a yellow waffle shirt with some shorts that match. I quickly go down the stairs and grab my backpack and head out the door and walk to school. I meet up with my friend Rory and his girlfriend Prim, and we walk to school together.
My first class is Geometry with Mr. Tempelsmith, I originally wanted to sit by Rory but he was in Algebra. So I had to sit by the Juniors Cato, Clove, and Glimmer. When class dismissed I walked to my locker who is next to Sophia Brin. She has never been nice to me but it's a new year so I will give her a chance. "Ugh, I am by you," she said. "Nice to see you to," I replied.
I go to English, and Biology, World Studies, and finally lunch. I try to find a seat by Rory but he's not here. I go sit by my new friends Cato, Clove, and Glimmer. It was an awkward situation being the youngest.
I skedaddle to gym and we go for a run in the woods. I am in the lead and I just keep going when I hear a scream of pain. I stop and run back and Sophia is bleeding. I try to help her up, but she said " Nick I'm fine, why would you even help me I am awful to you." "Yah, but nobody helped you," I replied." "Thanks," she said. I walk her to the nurse and she got skinned down to almost the bone, and she needed a crutch.
When the day ends I offer her if I could walk her home. It got dark soon and on our way a group of sophomores attack us and I scoop Sophia up and carrier while sprinting her to her house.
I wake up and go to school and help Sophia to school. I sit next to her in math, and English. Biology I sit next to Clove and we have an experiment on learning about your lab partner and we start talking, "Yah, so I am dating Marvel," she said. "How is that going?" I reply. "I sort of have a crush on someone else, "she answers. " "Who" I asked. "Nick Marrow," she replied. "I kind of like you to," I replied. "But Marvel will kill me if he knew" I said. "It's ok," she replied, "So want to go to The Capitol Coffee Shop with me at five," she said. "Sure, "I replied.
When school ended I walked Sophia home and I tell her about Clove. When I dropped her off I sprinted home to change into a light purple waffle shirt and jeans. I get there and order a cappuccino, and sit down by Clove. We talk and talk until 7:30, and on my way I get another attack but this time Marvel is there and he comes at me and tackles me and pounds my entire abdomen and face. I get up and run away, and bloody and in pain. I soon fall to the cement.
Next thing I know I am in Sophia's house in a bed scares and all but all the blood is dried up. I get up and run out of her house. I don't speak to her for several days. Soon she comes up to me at lunch, and says "Your Welcome, just saying."
I go to The Capitol to see Clove, I do see her. I see her kissing Marvel. I run to Sophia's house and I knock on her door and she tries closing it but I stop the door with my foot. I need to talk to you, "The reason I ran out was because I really like you," "Thank God you said that I did not have the courage to tell you that," she replied.
I start walking away and she said "Wait!" I turn around and she runs towards me and lightly brushes her lips to mine. She pulls back and I place my lips to hers and I don't pull back. I lift her up with our lips still together I lift her up just enough so her toes can almost touch the ground.
"What is this all about?" Clove is behind me.
