A/N: Wow! I haven't written a Tenchi fic in forever... geez... It's high time I put something up for Tenchi, so here it is.
Chapter 1
Ryoko looked across the tops of the trees. Tenchi had left for school earlier, leaving her feeling, in a way, empty.
Lately, Ryoko had been feeling left out and unwanted. At times she had considered leaving for good, letting Aeka have Tenchi, and given up. She would never surrender Tenchi to that incontemptuous brat. Never in her life.
So that left her to wait, feeling hopeless and depressed.
A small noise beside her made her jump. There was a scratching, then a low mew.
"Ryo-ohki," Ryoko sighed. The cabbit meowed a low tone, as if crying.
"I didn't expect you." Ryoko felt herself smile. Maybe she should shanghai Tenchi...
But would that make her feel better? She knew it wouldn't.
"What is wrong with me?" She asked herself quietly, almost in a whisper.
"Meeeooow...." Ryo-ohki replied.
"I just don't know anymore, Ryo-ohki. It seems as if I'll never be happy again." She turned to her cabbit. "What do you think?"
"Meeeeeooooooowwww!!!!!" Ryo-ohki chirped happily.
"That's not a bad idea." Ryoko said, dissapearing.
