His husky whisper against my ear makes loose hair dance. Morning stubble grazes my neck as he turns, kissing me softly on my cheek.
He steps closer, reaches around me for something unknown. His arm brushes mine on its retreat, causing my skin to erupt in goose bumps.
Another whisper, this time an apology, at least, I think that's what it was. The sensations that Remus create don't allow time to dwell on the matter. Feather light touches against my side cause me to gasp quietly. Fingertips play with the curve of my exposed hip, they dance along so softly that an involuntary shiver runs through me.
My breathing becomes shallow, uneven as his hand grazes further down. He reaches the sensitive hollow above the drawstring of my shorts. Fingers tickle there and he chuckles as I squirm. I lick my lips as his hand travels higher, exploring my stomach under the gap of my pyjama shirt. His movements are excruciatingly slow, as if he's savouring every contact our skin makes.
His hand edges ever higher, I swallow hard in anticipation.
And then he stops.
Confused I turn around and watch as he retires to the kitchen table. I watch his hands, his beautifully talented hands as they return to the altogether more domestic task of tea making. My mouth falls open at his cheek as he takes a nonchalant sip of tea. A small, slightly desperate cough escapes from my mouth. He continues reading today's weather report with a boyish smirk playing his lips.
"That, Remus, is no way to treat a girl on Valentine's day," I manage breathily.
"Just a taste of what's to come. Besides, I was merely following orders."
Raising an eyebrow he points at my t-shirt. His smug grin makes me want to slap him.
Instead I look down at the inverted lettering on my t-shirt. Bright orange capitals spell the words TEASE ME.
I smile suddenly, stride over to my marauding boyfriend and kiss him firmly on the lips.
"Remind me to wear this top more often then!"
