Gutts vs. Ultra Great Sword
*This is a cool little crossover I thought I would do, considering that the Ultra Great Sword in Dark Souls 2 is based off of Gutts' sword, Dragon Slayer. It might not be too good, but it's an idea that I've had for a while. Enjoy!*
The Dragon Rider fell as the last swing from the Ultra Great Sword cut through his shoulder, piercing his heart. The huge man faded away, and his souls flowed through the Chosen Undead's body. The circular arena that they had fought in was now dead silent. Only the burning of the fire in the Tower of Flame could be heard, crackling as the embers rose into the sky. The Chosen Undead was about to leave before he heard footsteps behind him.
A tall man, with heavy muscles, short, dark hair, and a massive sword on his shoulder was standing behind him. The blade was incredible similar to that of the Chosen Undead's. It looked intimidating; its mere presence made him want to hide. This was a dangerous man.
"You're in my way," The man said, "stand aside." The Chosen Undead could only watch as the man walked towards him. His stature was imposing, his walk, filled with confidence. He had no fear of the Chosen Undead, despite the massive sword over his shoulder. "You're blade…" The Chosen Undead said with awe, "It's… It's…"
"Dragon Slayer," the man said with a deep, strong voice. "It has killed more demons than you could imagine. Now step aside," The man said with a more demanding tone. The Chosen Undead, fearful though he was, was not going to be ordered by some random invader. "You go through me first," The Chosen Undead said with anger. The man glared at the one blocking his path, and leaped back. The Chosen Undead didn't understand this action, until he charged. Dragon Slayer cane off of his shoulder in an instant, and the man brought it down upon his opponent in a quick first strike. The Undead barely had enough time to bring his sword up before a powerful impact made him stumble backwards. Before he could even think, his imposer was bringing down the sword again. Another strong blow pushed the Undead backwards. But he was prepared for the next blow. He swung his blade, meeting Dragon Slayer in mid swing. The impact of the two blade caused the entire tower to shake, and a piece of the Undead's Ultra Greatsword fell from the point of contact.
The man leaped back again, and charged again, though this time, his blade was aiming for the side. The Undead brought up the blade just in time, though the man was preparing for another overhead. The Undead rolled out of the way of the blow, and Dragon Slayer hit the ground with massive force. The tower shook once more, and a large chuck of rock fell from the top. This didn't faze the man as he attempted a diagonal swing. The Undead could only block the man's powerful attacks, being protected only by his huge sword. And he could feel it breaking; pieces of his sword were flying off one by one.
Each blow made the tower quake, and it began to fall apart. Chunks of the tower fell all over, sometimes smashing into the floor, making the arena all the smaller. But at one point, the Undead saw a piece begin to fall toward his imposer. If he was lucky…
The man noticed, and swung his sword upward, cutting the rock in half. This was his chance. The Undead pulled up his sword, preparing to uppercut his opponent. And just when it seemed that victory was in hand… The Undead's blade shattered. The man had brought down his blade so strongly that he shattered the massive hunk of raw steel. And with that, the Undead no longer had a way to defend himself. The man raised his blade, Dragon Slayer, and brought it down as hard as possible, cleaving the Undead in half, and shaking the tower so hard that the top collapsed. The man quickly ran out of the room, and left the Undead to fade away, only to reappear at the bonfire.
