Ever wondered what happened to Josh Coleman, Sophomore Rugby Captain. Why he was never seen or heard from again after the Santana incident. Well here it is.
Seeing her captain walk into training with an obviously bruised ego was a normal sight, but this time it was accompanied with a furious demeanour that was not seen very often. Walking over quickly to find out the problem Sammy grabs the captain by his jersey and pulls him away as soon as he is in arms reach.
"Alright, what did you do this time, douchebag?" She asks with an incredibly forceful tone.
"I didn't do anything, if those dykes would've-" He answers angrily.
"I'm sorry, but what did you just say. Even your pea-sized brain should realize that that is a filthy derogatory term, and if I hear you say it one more time I swear you will regret it."
"Fuck you Davis, I am the captain here and I can say what I like. If the dykes-" No-one will ever find out what he was going to say about the "dykes" as Sammy's fist had started its swing as soon as he said the word.
The official word on the matter was that Josh fell during a scrum, and then was stepped on, to explain his multiple injuries. Sammy was suspended for a day for "Vandalism of school property" then was promoted to vice captain of the rugby team. This was a silent apology for not assisting her during the fight.
Of course word got around school of what Sammy had done. The whole incident, and Josh's new face, gave her quite a reputation and, indecently, the truth got out. The glee kids thanked Sammy for what she had done and Santana personally thanked her also.
"Look here, now I appreciate what you did, but me and my girls had that." Santana stated as bluntly as ever.
"Hey hey, I know, but that douchebag had it coming. Now he'll at least remember to not say that word around me, ever." Sammy countered, hoping that Santana will drop it and go.
"Oh really now, and why do you care so much, now? Are you one two?"
Sammy simply shook her head and muttered that it hit close to home. Santana stared calculatingly at Sammy for a bit then walked of saying something about "Mack-on" and "Britt-Britt."
At home that night Sammy was shocked to hear that word again. "Mommy, what does dyke mean?" Surely her little sister didn't have to put up with crap like that, she's only 6 for heaven's sake.
"Sweetie that is a bad word that some people use to describe others, please don't repeat it, Momma doesn't like it." Sammy's Mom answered quickly, it was probably a rehearsed answer, they all knew this day would come.
"Okay Mommy, is Momma gonna be up here soon? I want my goodnight kiss." Sometimes Sammy is bewildered at just how quickly, and unknowingly, her sister can change the subject.
"Here I am Sweetie, don't fret." Sammy's Momma walks into the room and gives her youngest daughter a kiss on the head, on her wife one on the cheek.
