A/N: Hi, this is my first fanfiction ever, so please do not expect it to be perfect. Also, I am making it up as I go, so if you have plot suggestions let me know. I will try to update about once a week. Constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Summary: AU. When thief Lucy Heartfilia meets another pink haired thief on her quest to gather all of the Celestial Keys, what kind of adventures will it take them on? This is my first fanfic, and I will make up the plot as it goes. Nalu all the way!

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or any of its characters, Hiro Mashima does.

Enjoy!

It was a dark and stormy night. The cool night air blew in her face as she quietly made her way through the gardens surrounding the Everlue Mansion. Her mission was simple: get in, steal the key of the Maiden, Virgo, and get out. The key was located in the mansion's library, which was on the fourth floor of the building. Taking a quiet breath, Lucy pulled a gadget out of her pocket in order to hack into the security system, only to find that it had already been sabotaged.

Adrenaline pumped through her veins. This meant that someone had gotten there before her. She picked up her pace and quickly strutted up the grand spiral staircase, taking in the scene as she ascended. The crystal chandelier was shattered and the few lightbulbs that were left intact were flickering gently. Remnants of glass scattered the staircase; she had to be careful to avoid them. Parts of the railing were scratched up and burned, while other parts had been ripped on the staircase entirely. On the walls, a series of punch marks could be seen, as well as the intent of what seemed to be a person's body.

As she reached the top of the staircase she inhaled sharply. Below her, she could see two bodies. They were not dead, but she could tell they had been knocked out and would stay unconscious for a while. Lucy could also hear grunting and crashing noises coming from the library, letting her know that her rival was still on the premises. Good. She thought. It will save me the trouble of having to track them down. Reaching for her whip, the girl carefully stepped forward and opened the door to the library, ready for a fight. She was not leaving this mansion without that key.
