Ch. 1
POV: Dianne Stark
Captain America and I are testing something for my dad. "Dad, you're sure this thing is stable?" I quaked. "I'm positive" he replies. I look at the machine. "Are you 100 percent sure?" I ask. My dad gets the machine warming up. "I did the pop tart test earlier," he remarks. And to think I ate it. "That is why you had a pop tart earlier," I remark. I look at Steve. "We will be alright Dianne," Cap tells me. That does help much. "If anything bad happens, I am telling mom," I warned. My dad just stares at me. "But nothing can go wrong Dia," Dad confirms. Cap and I sigh. We both know we aren't going to win that argument. Then everything went wrong as I thought it would. The portal machine starts to malfunction. After we get through the portal, the portal opens. A few minutes later, we are on a top of a building. We see a group of superhero teens. We are in hearing range."Bat we need backup now," one of them said. They outnumber and low on energy. Cap throws his shield at one of the enemies and joins the fight. "Need help," I question. I jump from the rooftop."Any help will be good now" another of them yell. I join in the fight. After a few minutes, with us joining the fight we got done. "Thanks for the help, I never saw you two at the league who are you," one of them ask. The league must be what this dimension of heroes. "I'm Dianne Stark and this is Captain America the first Avenger," I said. The group of teens introduces themselves as Young Justice. "Don't need backup anymore?" a voice said. "Nah duh Bats, if was for this two we wouldn't be alive for backup," Robin said. "What took you so long, Flash is faster than that" Kid Flash inquires. "Two-Face robbing a bank," Bats said. I roll my eyes."Not to be rude, I'm not from here" I froze. Bats stare at me and Cap nodded. "But I see shield agents get better backup time than that," I said. Batman leaves the area. "I'm sorry if I made it worse for you," I stammered. "It ok, Batman is normally that heartless around people," Robin said. Cap and I nod our heads. "He reminds me of Nick Fury minus the eye patch," I point out. Cap nods his in agreement. "More like Wolverine" Cap adds. "We better get to Mount Justices, are you two coming" Aqualad spoke. "Sure," I reply. It was not like Cap and I had anywhere else to go. When we get to Mount Justice, there is silence in the air. To break the ice, I start conservation about home. We get to start talking. "You luck Dr. Bruce Banner didn't come," I state. I sit down on the couch."Why?" Superboy asks. Cap is leaning against the wall."If Bruce gets mad, you need to run for the hills" Cap said. "And why is that" Miss Martian ask. I look at Captain America for the improved nod. Caps gave the nod. "When he gets mad, he turns into the Hulk, "I said."What the Hulk?" Artemis asks. " The Hulk is something he turns into when he gets furious. The accident happens when Dr. Banner was doing research for the military," I explain. Artemis nods her head."What was Dr. Banner research," Kid Flash questions? "Dr. Banner was reaching gamma rays and how it can use for electricity. Military took over, and Dr. Banner got exposed to gamma rays while being furious," I continue. "Why was he furious?" Aqualad ask. A good question since I told them that Dr. Banner is the usually calm man. "His research got thrown away by the military, and someone was in drop zone when the bomb dropped," I said. They nod their heads in understanding."Tell us about you" Robin said. "Well, I'm the daughter of Pepper and Tony Stark. I'm currently training with a group of superhero teens where I'm from. I hijack shield mainframe twice before we got here. I almost got kidnapped by Dr. Doom and beat him. And now I have travel time and dimension" I said as I finish my list. "So Tony Stark is your world, Bruce Wayne," Robin states. I nodded my head. Cap starts playful spar with Superboy. I start talking to Artemis and Miss. Martain. After few minutes, Robin walks up to Cap and me. "I ask one of my friends if you can stay at his house and he says yes," Robin said. A wave of relief comes over me. I got a place to stay for the night at least. "Thanks, Robin," I said. "I'll take you guys there," kid flash said. This is not home, but it is a nice place.
