Just a Kiss

Joey/Chandler (Friends)

"Just one kiss!"

"Joey, what is it about the word no that you don't understand?"

"Come on!"

"No way! I'm not gonna kiss you just because of that lame role. So what if he said you are bad at kissing men? It's not like it's something you do every day."

"I just wanna prove my point, okay?"

"Look, you've been pestered me for doing this for days now, and I'm still not giving in." Chandler paced away from Joey for a moment, scratching the back of his neck.

Joey sighed.

"Fine! You don't have to get all bitchy about it," he said.

"I'm not getting bitchy," Chandler snorted after turning to Joey again, "I'm being realistic."

"It's not like it's gonna mean anyth-"

"No? Damn, I was just getting excited for a moment."

Joey sensed the heavy tone of sarcasm.

Chandler ran his hand through his hair. Actually, this kissing-thing wasn't really a big deal. It was basically just the picture in his head that was weird and just out of place. Joey was a wonderful guy, there was no denying that. Maybe he should just go with it.

"Okay. Okay!" he said and watched as Joey looked at him. "But only... brief."

"Sure," Joey said with joy in his voice, getting closer.

"And no tongue!" Chandler grabbed his friend's upper arms to keep him from being all over his face. "I'm gonna kill you."

"Of course," Joey said, sounding convincing. "I get it. We're... Well, we're guys."

"Yeah, straight guys," Chandler nodded, "who don't do such things."

"No, of course not," Joey shook his head.

They went silent, looking each other in the eyes. After a while, Chandler broke the tense silence.

"So, are you gonna get this over with or...?"

Joey realized he had been looking at Chandler's lips. He fixed on his eyes again instead.

"Yeah," he said, suddenly realizing he had said it very lowly. He shook himself out of his thoughts. "Yeah, sure."

Slowly, he moved closer and softly placed his lips against Chandler's. Immediately, this weird feeling kicked in. Like the whole thing felt right.

He didn't dare moving further, but when Chandler's lips seemed to start play with his, he really couldn't help opening his mouth just slightly.

Chandler's heart leaped, when he sensed how much Joey wanted this. Since his hands were still on Joey's shoulders, he moved them down and wrapped them around his friend's waist. He opened his mouth and felt how their tongues touched each other passionately.

Suddenly Joey withdrew his lips and found Chandler with closed eyes. He was a little amazed by the arms around his body.

"Sorry. Is it now you're gonna kill me?" he asked, so lowly that it was almost a whisper. He didn't pull away from Chandler's face.

Chandler didn't move at first. Actually, he was very surprised how quickly it all happened.

"How about..." He looked at Joey's lips. "... we just forget all about what I s-"

"Got it!" Joey immediately captured Chandler's lips again, kissing him desperately. This was so wrong. And yet so right. God, Chandler's lips were so soft, and damn how the room was getting hot.

Pulling his lips away from Joey's, Chandler looked at him a little bit more seriously.

"Alright," he said, "before we get all excited and everything..."

"What?" Joey looked him straight into the eyes.

Chandler breathed over his friend's mouth for a moment.

"Never mind." He was all over Joey again within a second.
