Chasing an Endless Dream
He didn't really have a place to call home
because he was always yanked away
Sometimes without even a farewell,
and he wondered…
A sick child,
broken friends,
a Digimon back in its egg
…as to the ones he had left behind:
their state
and his heart cried when he saw them again
in a world no other understood:
through the plasma screen, a once kind boy
with a whip; a bouncing blue
with a new friend…and the others
all together again
without him
All while the camera flashes stalked him
or the insistent tapping of his egg,
He wondered, if this crazy world was his home;
he hoped it wouldn't be, but as soon as he grew attached
He was yanked away again
chasing an endless dream.
