Okay, so this is a random poem I came up with during Math class. I mean, c'mon, it's the last class of the day (for me at least), I understood what I was supposed to do, and I had my one-shot notebook with me. Who wouldn't write?
Anyway, it's about the final battle in Heroes of Olympus. And don't tell me it doesn't make sense, I already know that.
I don't own Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus. If I did, Jason would've been run over by a car and/or drowned and/or shot full of arrows by the Hunters and/or swallowed up by the shadows a long time ago. As you can probably tell, I don't like Jason. ... Percy rocks! Whoooo, go Percy!
And now, on to the story/poem/thingy!
Oh Percy
"Help me, Percy, please!" The demigods cry.
But Percy, oh Percy, could do nothing
but watch them all die.
Oh he yelled, oh he screamed.
That demigod son of Poseidon did everything he could.
But Gaia held him fast,
and dashed him, dashed him as she basked.
Soon bloody was his body
lying in all of the debris.
But soon footsteps sounded.
All six pairs of them, they bounded.
So brave Percy, oh Percy, pulled himself up,
just like a newborn pup.
And then they appeared, ready for battle.
Annabeth, the genius,
Leo, the fire,
Jason, the dangerous,
Piper, the speaker,
Hazel, the gem, and
Frank, the hell leaper*.
The six were coming for the seventh,
Percy the sword master,
the protector,
the leader,
the water,
the lover,
the humor,
the savior.
Then together, with a mighty battle cry,
The seven defeated Gaia,
who toppled, toppled from the sky.
Down to earth, Earth did come,
screaming her fury high.
But nothing could change the outcome,
for Percy, oh Percy, was taking on the
kingdom.
Ya know, 'cause he's avoiding death?
And yeah, I know it's stupid. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right? (And I had to occupy myself during Math. ;))
Anyway, random question time! Who's your favorite character and couple in the Percy Jackson series? Mine are Percy Jackson and Pertemis. Or maybe my favorite couple is Perlia ... I don't know, either one is awesome.
Please review!
