So me and my bestest buddy, Short Stack, were talking on glogster (link in profile). And she has never read the book but she sounds pretty smart because she kept up with the whole thing.

VOLUME 17 SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why was I ranting you ask? Because I just finished Volume 17 where Akito's gender is revealed. The term "sheman" comes from my other buddy (who's link is in my profile, read her story!)

Onward!

Me: Sorry just let me rant for a second. You remember that character I was so mad at the other night? Well the HE is a SHE and that SHE has been sleeping with Kureno and Shigure. HA Shigure! How dare he? Stupid Akito makes Kureno stay and not be with Uo-chan!

Short Stack: wow that made no sense what so ever. omg the dudes a chic! ewww lol. wait so then a dude slept with a dude and one dude happens to be a chic. So then that one dude isn't really gay since he slept with a chic that he thought was a dude? ahhh my brain hurts! Lol

Me: exactly! I thought Akito was a dude and the one dude kissed him..er..her? And I was like "No, Kureno, don't go down that path! That's NOT good! You're too hot for that" and then he says "She (Akito) something something" so they're not both dudes! And if Akito WAS a dude that would mean the other dude is bi, cuz he fell in love with Uo-chan but the dude that's a chick got in the way of that. But the dude that was with the dude that's a chick knew the dude was a chic

Short Stack: ok I was following that.. I think... until the very ending lol

Me: the guy that the sheman was with knew that he was a she!

Short Stack: o I gotcha so in a way he's not really gay. So he's not really bi either if he knew the dude was a chic cause if he is a she then that makes him normal so in a way he's not gay or bi... wow that almost made sense lol

Me: yea, but the sheman has this stupid notion that he/she can control the rest of the family because she/he is the head but sheman is really just kinda lost. And has anger issues. He/she was raised as a guy though.

Short Stack: yea that is an issue. lol ;P
how dare he/she! Wow so sheman is a chic who was raised as a dude but really is a chic but people think that the chic's a dude when she's really a chic...

Me: I know. Her own mother has issues with him. Yea sheman wants to put my favorite character in solitary confinement because he can. And she's mean. He knows exactly what to say to make you feel terrible at the smallest mistake. Like twisting the knife, ya know?

Short Stack: well I could believe that she had problems with him. Why does sheman want to do that? I mean why put your character in solitary confinement? The dude.. I mean chic has her own problems. sheman shouldn't take it out on other people lol. Twisting the knife? I have no clue wth that means. Lol

And as promised, I'm leaving it at that because poor Short Stack got all confused.

I know, I might have gotten a few details of the story wrong because I misunderstood something. Sorry.
