Ginny couldn't sleep so decided to sneak out of the castle and go sit by the lake. It was easy enough to do as it was too late for any prefects or teachers to be in the corridors but she still used the secret passageways to be safe, wouldn't want to be stopped by anyone and waste time. For the short amount of time she was walking she wondered about the safety of her family. She knew she was the easiest to get information from if Voldemort wanted it. He'd spent a year inside her head, she had told him all of her secrets there was no way he couldn't get to her and there was no way he wouldn't want to. She could know where Harry was, she could be used to their advantage in the war. They could make her tell them anything they wanted to know, she was the biggest threat to the safety of her family and the order, it'd be better if she wasn't around to get information from.

Snape had already tried to talk to her a few times, acting like he was trying to help really he just wanted to know where Harry was. Of course Ginny had no idea where he'd gone but Snape didn't know that and she certainly wasn't going to tell him, better he wastes time asking her than go out looking for them. Snape had stopped asking though and Ginny was sure that he'd realised she didn't know anything. When she reached the lake she'd decided that she couldn't spend any more time thinking that she was the main threat to the safety of the wizarding world. It'd be better if she just disappeared was never heard from again so she'd jump into the lake. No one would ever know that's what happened to her and at least the disappearance of a student would keep Snape busy for a while.

Of course she'd die with regrets, never having her own children, not saying goodbye to anyone but her biggest regret would be never telling Draco how she felt about him, how much she loved him. How his smile was the only thing that could make her happy, when he smiled properly not his usual smirk. He'd only laugh at her and say he's not interested in blood traitors but it would be better than dying with secrets also the look on his face would be amazing no matter how much it hurt when it twisted from shock into hatred and disgust. The thought of that only made her surer that she wanted to end her life. She was a threat to her family and friends and the person she loved hated her and always would there was no hope left for her. She couldn't spend another second feeling this way so empty and alone so she kept walking until she was at the edge of lake. Whispered an apology to her family and jumped in the freezing water, every part of her body instantly froze; she couldn't move to try to swim up. It didn't matter it only mattered that it would all be over soon slowly she lost consciousness and her last thought was of him.
