"Gah!" Your shrill screams bounced off the walls, most likely waking up half of your neighbors if they were still sleeping in late. The little eight-legged creature crawled out from beneath the sofa and made its way around your living room, creeping around. You jumped up onto the sofa, shrieking. You had tried to smack the damn thing but the spider had easily evaded your attack.

When you saw the spider begin to roam your living room again, you slapped a hand over your eyes, unable to watch. Cold shivers of fear darting down your spine as you stood trembling upon the sofa.

"Come on, little guy!"A familiar voice spoke. You peered out the slight gap between your fingers then removed your hand completely at the sight of your boyfriend, Peter. He had a glass in his hand and a magazine in the other, coaxing the spider onto the magazine to trap it under the glass. You slowly stepped off of the sofa when Peter shook the magazine out of the window, allowing the spider to escape. He turned around to grin at you. You could hear your screams from halfway down the road,

"[Name]!"

"Sh-Shut up!" You snapped, a blush heating up your cheeks. Embarrassed to be caught screaming your head off just because of a little spider.

"It was just a spider, [Name]. It's not as if it s gonna hurt you," Seeing your glare, he added. "It's more scared of you than you're scared of it anyway!"

"Psh, yeah right. Whatever you say, Peter." You retorted, walking over to him and strolling right into his outstretched arms. You snuggled in close to him, nuzzling against his firm shoulder. Peter placed a delicate kiss on your forehead.

"If you're that scared of spiders then why are you dating Spider Man, [Name]?" He teased, playfully, messing up your hair. You gave a mock pout.

"Well," you said, wrapped up in his embrace. "I do believe you're the only spider I'm not scared of." You glanced up at him, a smile pulling at your face.

Peter laughed and pecked your lips.
