Not in the mood for anything right now, except coffee. So, yeah…go figure why its this short.

Natsuki Kuga

-

She taps her fingers on the table's face and wonders what is missing.

"It's my full name." And yet it wasn't full at all.

Half. A quarter. Nothing. It is nothing. She shrugs her shoulders and continues to listen to the deathrock tunes that boomed in her mp3.

-

The wind brushes against her cheek. She grimaces at the distraction. She was doing her homework in math. What could be more important than that right now? Her.

She stands up and closes the window, then returns to her seat to finish the equation.

"I'm forgetting something." She glances around the room and seas all her unfinished chores.

And she remembers now, that it was not homework, not the lyrics of the song, not the fridge, not the dirty, unwashed clothes that were scattered on the floor, not the post it note on the refrigerator that said: Buy milk, eggs, mayo, and then wash clothes, not last week's history lesson, and certainly not the Japanese equivalent of the English word: ballistic.

She slaps herself. She remembers now.

"It's my reply…"

For Shizuru had texted her twenty minutes ago:"Study hard! Eat well, don't forget to wash your dirty clothes and buy your groceries! I love you!"

And it was the reply that she forgot all along. Silly her.

"Okay. I love you to. Be well." Send. Beep. Sent.

She turns her attention back towards the name on her notebook.

Right here, beside the name under this text, there is an empty space.

Natsuki Kuga

-

She completes it.

-

Natsuki Kuga and Fujino Shizuru forever.

-

She smiles to herself as she places the pencil down. She stands up, grabs her celphone, and marches towards her bed while the wind plays with her unfinished homework and her clothes lie dirty on the floor.
