Hey Hearties! This is my first WCTH fanfic. I just finished the whole season tonight! I can't believe the ending. Anyway, my story is snipets about the Thorton's lives. It's after the end of season four and after they get married. This first one is their one year anniversary. Enjoy!
Hope Valley is my home. The place I found true love, and much more. One year ago today, I was married to Constable Jack Thornton. My love for him has grown even more in one year. I can't wait to see his reaction to my news.
Elizabeth Thornton
Elizabeth woke up on her first anniversary, in a happy mood. Less than five minutes later her husband, Jack Thornton, woke up feeling the same way. Jack kissed her before getting up to make breakfast.
Elizabeth hopped in the shower. She managed to get ready right as breakfast was ready. Jack had made her favorite, pancakes and sausage.
"Aw, Jack!" Elizabeth exclaimed. "Thanks. I kinda have a present for you."
"Me too." Jack pulled out a small box. "It's not much, but you'll like it."
Elizabeth took the box and opened it. Inside was a pearl necklace.
"Jack, you didn't need to go this far."
"I wanted to. Now where's your present?" Jack asked.
"Well, I'm pregnant!" Elizabeth said with excitement in her voice.
"That's great!"
"I knew you would be happy." Elizabeth leaned into the kiss Jack gave her.
They would make great parents. For now, they'd enjoy their first anniversary.
