No.

"Bella...''

June felt her tongue stiffen as she uttered the two-syllable name.

''Bella...''

She gazed down at the body before her, tears streaming down her face. Bella lay, unmoving, in a pile of her own blood, eyes staring blankly up at the ceiling.
The scar that rode down her chest oozed more of the thick burgundy liquid over the concrete floor.

They were in jail.
And Bella was dead.

The mutter of prisoners around her was drowned out from the sound of June crashing to the ground, burying her face in her best friend's fluff and sobbing wildly, her tears mixing with the bodily fluids that poured out of Bella by the second.
She cried and cried, holding onto the bee and succumbing to the deepest depression she had ever felt.

Bella, her best friend, her girlfriend, was dead.

June slid the tiny, dark box out of her brown fuzz. Her eyes stung, blurred with tears, but she was still able to successfully open it.
Within its luxurious velvet insides sat a ring, a ring so small no being other than an insect could wear. If not for the glittering diamond sitting pretty atop the piece of jewelry, the ring would have been too small to see.

She had planned to propose to Bella today.
But where was she now? In jail.

Bella had died trying to get them out. June stared at the concrete wall, spattered with crimson juices and indented heavily.
Bella had died to get June out.

June took the ring in her claw, blinking back a second round of tears, and slid it onto Bella's front leg. The diamond reflected the blood pooled around the two, sending hues of red and burgundy splashing across the dark cell.

The small arachnid stared at the wall barring them in.
She and Bella had gone to prison after she had stolen the ring from a jewelry shop. It had been all her fault, but Bella had still tried to get them out.
''Why, Bella?''

She didn't know what to expect; an answer, Bella's ghost to descend, but all she got was an echo.
June looked at the steep outcropping that Bella had killed herself on. It was stained dark red.
She was unable to hold back, the second wave of tears, and they came like twin storms pouring out of her eyes, sloshing on the ground and splashing against the walls. Tears drenched the fluff on the jumping spider's face, puddles forming on the ground quickly.

June looked at herself in the puddles of her tears. She was wet, dirty, and bloody, and her eyes were sunken, bloodshot, and ugly.

She was a crying, sobbing, soaking mess.

June looked at the sharp outcropping again and inhaled.
''For Bella.''

She exhaled, tears bubbling against her vision again, an smashed herself against the sharp ridge. Pain riddled through her body and she crumpled to the floor, crimson spray and guttural juices exploding from her sides.

The pain was unbearable, searing through her and twisting around her organs, dancing through her head and squeezing her mind.

Her sight blurred and her head spun, as she started to go unconscious.

June looked at her best friend, her girlfriend, once more.
''I love you,'' she whispered, before her eyes closed.
''And I'll meet you there.''
