"You're what?!"

Miyuki could practically feel his shock seep through her skin. "Um . . . I'm pregnant."

His face was almost soaked with sweat. He ran his claws through his mane. How did he not see this coming? Even when they had said their vows a year ago, he had never imagined to have a kid this early. He had been dreading it, to be honest. He had known that Miyuki wanted kids, and it wasn't like he hated them, he was just . . . afraid. If Miyuki gave birth to a child with wolf-like qualities, he would never fit in, neither in Earth or even in MärchenLand, for its inhabitants were wary of human-fairy offspring. If he did fit in, his friends would never come over for fear of his father.

Father, huh?

Wolfrun gulped. Was he really cut out to be a father?

"How long have you known?"

Miyuki thought for a moment. "Maybe five days? Possibly a week."

Wolfrun nodded nervously.

"Are you upset with me?!" Miyuki cried. "I promise, I will try to not let it bother y—!"

"That won't be necessary."

Miyuki stopped in surprise. "W— . . . What do you mean? You don't— You don't want to send it away do you?!" Her face scrunched up in sadness. "Ha ~ pu ~ pu ~ !"

"Of course not, Miyuki," Wolfrun chuckled as he lifted her chin.

"You mean, you're not mad at me?" She murmured pleadingly as she stared at him with her big, magenta-colored eyes.

"Not at all."

Miyuki beamed. "Oh! I can't wait till it comes! I bet you'll be a wonderful daddy!"

Wolfrun smiled sheepishly, ruining his tough look. "I hope so . . ."

"Trust me. I know so!" Miyuki giggled. "You what I am right now?"

Wolfrun grinned. "I bet I can guess."

"I'm ultra happy ~ !" She exclaimed.

"At the moment, so am I," He said as he held his wife close.
