King and Lionheart

Hello! So, I was listening to King and Lionheart by Of Monsters And Men, and I decided to write this! I hope you enjoy it! This was also inspired by TheyAlwaysUseADagger's story Just Follow Me!

Mina's POV:

I can't believe that Mother and Father made me even go to this stupid competition to marry the probably stuck-up Prince Teague! They both know that I don't want to get married yet, but they still made me! Charlie, my little brother, hated it almost as much as I do because he wouldn't be able to play with me.

Hopefully I'll get kicked out, I'm nothing special, anyways all I have golden streaks in my brown hair that match the golden flecks in my brown eyes. I'm not pretty like all the other girls who will be there. And if I act terrible, then Prince Teague will definitely kick me out! That's what I'll do!

I finally look out the window to find out that we just arrived at the palace. Soon, my plan will start, and then I'll go back home to a disappointed Mother and Father, and a happy Charlie.
