Hehe…um, Well this is a fanfiction for one of my bestest buddies! This is a GaaNaru pairing, so if you don't like that pairing…DON'T READ! Ha! Also, in this fanfic, Naruto is actually female!! DDDDD: So keep that in mind, okie dokie? This is a one-shot, so it will most likely be awful in my terms xD
I do not own Naruto or anyone in it!!! D: For the love of BoA, no hating, please:D

Narue was out practicing with Sakura and Sai in the clearing where Team 7 always used to practice when Sasuke was with them. She fell to pieces when Sasuke had abandoned the village, but since everyone has been really nice to her and helping through it, she was able to keep hold of herself.
"Narue."
"Oh…yes Sai?" Narue responded politely with a smile on her face.
"We should head back. It's getting late and we're hungry." Sai's face was hard as stone, yet he had a smile on his face.
'I just don't understand him at all. His fake smiles. He thinks that helps him get whatever he wants. What a weirdo.' "Alright, I'll be finished here in a moment! Go on ahead without me!" With that, Sai and Sakura left the training area with Narue waving politely goodbye.
"Narue."
A familiar voice. Narue turned, but there was no one behind her. No one there at all. Who could have said her name…? Suddenly, a red-haired man appeared from nowhere and hugged Narue tightly.
"Oh, Narue. I can't stand it. Without you around, I just can't stay sane."
She held the man tighter to her, afraid that he would disappear if she were to let go of him. He kissed Narue's forehead softly and inhaled her fragrant cinnamon scent. "You smell so delicious."
Narue giggled. "You always say that when you hold me."
He pulled away from her and looked directly into her eyes. "But you do, it's true. I wouldn't tell you that you smelled delicious if you didn't. I could eat you, but sometimes things that smell good won't taste that way."
Narue became very serious. "But you never know. Never judge a book, or at least me, by its cover. You'd be surprised." She winked.
The hunger was obvious in his eyes. He wanted her so badly he couldn't stand it. "It's so strange…I want you so much, but it's really hard to be together-"
Narue placed her finger to his lips, quieting him. "Shh…" she sang. "You only think that way because you're the Kazekage. But don't worry…" She pumped her fist into the air. "I'm going to be the next Hokage, and you know it!"
He simply chuckled. Narue looked confused. "Gaachin, why are you laughing? Is it that funny?" She was discouraged.
Gaara pulled Narue into an embrace and said, "No…I don't think it's funny at all. You were always so determined to get what you wanted; it's cute."
Narue blushed heavily, standing on her toes and kissing Gaara lightly on the lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close, deepening their kiss. She wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders, moaning as the kiss got more "hot and passionate." Suddenly Gaara pulled away from Narue.
"What is it…?" she asked confused.
"I have to go. It was stupid of me to sneak away at a time like that, but…I just had to see you…" He placed his hand on her head and pat it lightly.
Narue hugged him tightly. "Please…Please tell me you'll come back to me soon!" she cried.
Gaara bent down and kissed her on the cheek. "I promise." With that, Gaara disappeared with the sand being the only trace that he was there. A tear rolled down Narue's cheek.
"But…you say that every time…and yet, we just keep getting more separated by these impossible restrictions… Won't I ever be able to stay by your side?"
Narue slowly walked to the restaurant where Sai and Sakura would be waiting for her…
'Why can't you be waiting there, too?'
